  We stayed for a week, and our stay was wonderful. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with the essentials to have a great stay. You feel at home because Stella and George are so friendly, warm and will help with anything you need. Location was also excellent. There are groceries and markets, bakeries and restaurants walking distance. We were fond of one restaurant in particular that was basically across the street - went there 3 times. And huge bakery up the street that had everything. Central location to get around the island. My kids loved the pool; again, very clean. I hope we are lucky enough to visit again. Thank you Stella and George for making us feel like we were family!

  If you are traveling to Santorini and want to feel at home, Pension Stella is the place to stay. Stella and George are the kindest souls and want to make your stay as comfortable and wonderful as possible. George even picks you up from the airport free of charge! The location is great, very close to the main bus area in Fira that can take you anywhere on the island, and the facility was clean and fully equipped. I will definitely be back!

  This is our first time to Santorini of course with a little bit nervous but Goerge, a very friendly man, welcome us in the airport with smile and help us to bring luggage to the car.
  Stella welcome us with cold glasses of orange just with honey. Tremendous! They also keep things and behavior that I'm sure you can feel like home.
  The place is so convinient that you can walk to Fira about 10 minutes or can take the bus to Oia or the beaches to the south of the island.
  George and Stella offer wonderful local breakfast, which he promises enough vitamin for you to do wanted thing.
  Thanks Stella for giving us, even without demand, a light for our romantic drinking at that night.
  All in all, highly suggested for those who needs a place to stay and feel comfortable to relax and discover this beautiful island.
  Nice and clean room, good airport pick-up, delicious breakfast, friendly couple

  After too short of a visit last summer, we were so happy to be back in the welcoming arms of George and Stella. They work so hard to make everyone feel comfortable and at home, and take a lot of pride in keeping their pension spotless and beautiful.
  
  It is so nice to have a pool to jump into on a hot afternoon and having a communal kitchen is definitely a bonus.

Last August, we arrived after a 36-hour delay due to a Blue Star Ferry fiasco only to be greeted with open arms by Stella and George. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable, and made sure that we had a fantastic time. To us, the location was perfect, away from the hordes of tourists in central Thira, but close enough to everything to walk and enjoy. Our wonderful hosts also recommended a great place to rent ATVs, which proved to be a fun and practical mode of transportation throughout the entire island (thank you, Panos!). Pension Stella is a very clean, comfortable and safe place to stay, and you cannot beat the price and value for money, not to mention the incredible hospitality and open-heartedness of Stella and George. We already booked our stay for next summer, so needless to say, we'll be back!

  My sister and I stayed at Pension Stella in June of 2010, so this was quite some time ago. We were talking recently and brought up how wonderful our European vacation was. Just the two of us, myself being 21 and my sister only 18, backpacked throughout Europe, alone! One of our trips best highlights was staying with George and Stella in Santorini. To this day we haven't forgotten their names or their hospitality. I only forgot to leave them an excellent and very deserving raving review. So here it is. In all the cities we explored, never had we felt so warmly welcomed. We will always describe George and Stella as our Greek parents. They were wonderful, caring, and absolutely the best hosts in all of Europe. They greeted us each morning with Greek iced coffee and helped us decide what we should do for the day. You will NOT regret staying at Pension Stella. <3

  Well, George is the best host in all of Greece. Nothing is too much trouble. We really appreciated his and Stella's hospitality and instead of staying three nights we extended to six. The room was perfectly clean, the self catering kitchen an added bonus for anyone who wants to do their own cooking. Good restaurants are nearby and Fira is only 15 minutes walk away.   Pension Stella is absolutely a great place to stay when visiting Santorini. The room is very clean and tidy. George and Stella cleaned our room every day. Each room has a little terrace, which is very nice. The pension has a beautiful swimming pool and a fully equipped kitchen. The price is unbeatable.It is cheaper to book the room through their homepage directly. George knows the island very well. He can recommend you good local tours, good restaurants and a good place to rent a car. We are very satisfied and would like to stay with them again when we visit Santorini next time.

  My friend and I stayed at Pension Stella for 3 nights and it was great! Stella and George are great hosts and really very sweet. They pick you up from the port, inform and book tours for you, and also helped us rent a Vespa. They really took care of us and made us feel at home. We got really sick from traveling and Stella even drove us to the hospital to make sure we were taken care of.
  
  The place is really clean, organized, secure, close to Fira (10 min walk, 2 min bus drive), air-conditioned, fridge, and spacious. If I go back to Santorini, I would definitely stay at Pension Stella again...I highly recommend Stella Pension!!!

George & Stella are the nicest people we met there, and they are willing to help with anything you need. The rooms were comfortable, the pool was relaxing, and it's in a great location! There is a tourist information center right down the road (where you can buy ferry tickets, etc.), a good restaurant next door, a souvenir shop, and a scooter/4wheeler rental place in walking distance. We had a wonderful time, and we plan on staying there next time we visit Santorini!

The way they took us in and made us feel so comfortable, it was as though we were old family friends. We laughed and talked and I am 100% positive, if I am lucky enough to come back to Santorini, I will definitely stay with them. They picked us up at the ferry even though it was 1:00 in the morning. They gave us the most wonderful recommendations on where to go and what to do. The hotel was perfectly located. They were more hospitable than we could have dreamed.   Hemos estado 6 dias alojados en esta pension y lo hemos pasado genial. La habitacion era grande, con frigorifico y bano grande y una terrazita que venia fenomenal para cenar. Tiene una piscina con tumbonas que se agradece un monton. En cuanto a los duenos solo tengo buenas palabras sobre ellos son muy buena gente y te aconsejan muy bien sobre que ver y donde ir.

  Not only was our room just perfect --modern, clean and comfortable-- but the price was terrific, and Stella and George were wonderfully warm and helpful. Also, they are located just a few feet from both a bus stop and a reasonable car rental agency... as well as a market, a restaurant and a good bakery.

  La Pensione Stella è molto confortevole, pulitissima sia esternamente che come stanze (cambio lenzuola ed asciugamani ogni giorno). Le camere sono dotate di un bel bagno con doccia, condizionatore etc: non manca nulla per un buon confort. Ma la cosa più sorpendente sono i titolari : Giorgio e Stella. Simpaticissimi e disponibilissimi a ogni tua necessità, ti fanno sentire non un cliente ma un amico. Consiglio vivamente questa Pensione anche per la posizione che è centrale rispetto all'isola. Da qui in poco tempo si raggiunge ogni angolo di questo paradiso. Inoltre ricordo che tutto questo è costato solo E.35 al giorno per me e mia moglie (sett. 2007) .... Andate a Santorini dove troverete un'isola incantevole, persone gentilissime e quando andrete via non mancherà un nodo alla gola nel salutare gli splendidi Giorgio e Stella.

  anche per quest'anno siamo tornati da Stella e Giorgio nella loro splendida pensione. come l'anno scorso ci siamo trovati veramente bene perche' sono persone simpaticissime disponibili e molto ospitali, come non ne abbiamo trovati altri su altre isole. le camere vengono pulite quotidianamente e con cura, come tutto il resto della pensione. inoltre troverete anche una piccola cucina in comune per poter prepararvi una cena veloce (se non riuscite a stare senza pasta per tanto tempo...).

  My husband and I have stayed at Pension Stella for the past 3 nights and have the place just wonderful. The people here are just great - very helpful and hospitable. The accommodation is excellant with great facilities within the complex. We would not hesitate to recommend Pension Stella to any Kiwis or others to visit. The best place we have stayed in our ten days!

  We are three are three girls from Canada and loved our stay here. We were very lucky to have found Pension Stella. We arrived here alone and were taken into a families home. George had coffee waiting for us, and drove us to pick up our friend at the airport just because he wanted to help.
  
  The rooms are clean and the customer service is exceptional. We came back two times just to see them.
  
  We definitely recommend anyone, young and old, to stay with this couple. You will not be dissapointed.

  Nous avons passe 5 nuits a la pension STELLA ou nous avons trouve un excellent accueil, tres convivial de la part de Georges et Stella.
  Pension tres bien tenue et confortable.Sa situation a Karterados permet de rayonner dans toute l'ile.
  Bon plan pour visiter Santorin.
